Our take
This Cuisinart Smart Power Duet is a solid two-in-one for the price. The 40 oz glass blender pitcher handles ice crushing surprisingly well, and the 7-speed dial with pulse gives good control. The food processor attachment is handy for small chopping tasks. Downsides: the motor is only 500W, so it struggles with very thick blends, and the chrome finish shows fingerprints easily. Still, for under $40, it's a decent space-saver if you don't need heavy-duty performance.
