Our take
This is a variation of the SmartPower Duet with 5 speeds instead of 7. The silver finish is fine, but at $70, it's pricier than the 7-speed models. The 500W motor is the same, so performance is comparable. The plastic build doesn't inspire confidence. I don't see a clear advantage over the cheaper versions – the 5-speed dial feels a step backward. For smoothies and occasional chopping, it works, but I'd look for a better deal.
