Our take
This is just the blender part of the Duet, not the full set – so no food processor bowl. The glass jar is nice for durability, but the 500W base is the same as other models. For $30, if you already have the food processor top, it's a decent replacement base. But as a standalone blender, the 7 speeds are fine for simple tasks, though it struggles with ice or frozen fruit. I'd pass unless you need the base specifically.
